"Team leader Sam Bennett quickly told us that he wasn't feeling his best and that we could race for ourselves. That's what we did with Jordan Labrosse and Valentin Retailleau. Positioning was key, even though there was one tour this year, which made the race even more tense. We really had to be at the front, and the team did a great job all day. I broke away a kilometer from the finish line because I felt I had the legs for it. Victory is within reach, which is fantastic!"
