"I'm really happy with what we've done this week with the team. We've been focused on every stage, whether it was competing in the sprints or the general classification. We raced as we should have. Today, once again, the team did a great job to allow me to try and go for the win. On the last tour, I seized my chance and no one followed me. We tried one last relay with Nans (Peters), but we also had to think about preserving second place. Finishing on the podium in a WorldTour race is exceptional. I've been lucky enough to taste victory in the past, so coming so close is always a little frustrating, but I'm satisfied to end the season with a performance of this level."
