"I'm a little disappointed to come so close to a first professional victory but at the same time very happy with this result. It didn't come down to much. Bastien's (Tronchon) victory yesterday inspired me and I wanted to do the same today. It would have been really nice to win one after the other but it's still a great performance.
I'm happy with the day at the front and my fitness. This is my first professional race as a neo-pro (he's been a pro since August 1, 2022) so it's encouraging for the future."[/su_quote]
