" I'm really happy with my day

"It was one of my best days in Giro. The climb was tough, with fast riding right from the foot of the second climb. Ben (O'Connor) and I tried to manage the climb, keeping Tiberi's group in our sights. I was pretty confident, even though the pace was high, because I knew we'd be able to catch up on the descent. In the final, it was a bit tactical and the others were watching each other. I told myself I had to go for it, and I did well, taking second place at the finish! I'm really happy with my day, how I felt, and the level I'm at today."
