A strategy for the future
The 2025 season marks a key stage in the strategy of the DECATHLON AG2R LA MONDIALE team, with the extension of the contracts of several executives and the arrival of new talent. This balance between experience and youth reflects the desire to build a solid, competitive team for the years to come.

"A vision for the coming years
"This is a strategy we have studied with a view to the coming years, and we wanted to focus on renewing the riders in the team. I'm thinking of Stan Dewulf, Pierre Gautherat, Aurélien Paret-Peintre, and Nicolas Prodhomme, who are now part of the team's core and bring stability to the group. In an effort to strengthen the team's specific needs for the Grand Tours and the classics, we focused our recruitment on four riders meet those needs. Two young Norwegians, Tord Gudmestad and Johannes Staune-Mittet, have been recruited for the mass sprints and general classifications respectively. But we have also brought in riders experienced riders with Callum Scotson and time trial specialist Stefan Bissegger."

Pierre Gautherat (2025-2027)
