"It was a tough day with a grueling course. In the final stretch, we raced to win with Benoît (Cosnefroy) and we came very close. That mistake in the final moments was perhaps the key moment of the race because we had started out as a pair and it wasn't easy to get back up and regroup for the sprint. It's a shame to come so close to victory, but I'm still very happy with the result. I've been feeling better and better every day since the Tour Wallonie (July 23-27) and I'm very motivated to get some good results. It's a good sign to be at the front on a stage like today's. We'll see if there's a chance to shake up the general classification tomorrow, but Alex Aranburu seems strong and he has good speed."[/su_quote]
