Paul Lapeira
"I felt great and gave it my all to get this win".
"The stage was decided on the pedals. There was a lot of tension in the peloton in the last 60 kilometers. The team did a great job of getting me into position for the final, which allowed me to maintain a good position and helped a lot. I felt really good, I held back as long as possible so I could make my move at the right moment. When we caught up with the leaders, I seized the opportunity and gave it my all in the last 200 meters, and it worked, so I'm very happy. Winning today feels really good after my difficult start to the season. I knew that my training over the last few weeks had been good, but I needed to be able to put it into practice. We're now going to do everything we can to defend this yellow jersey, but whatever happens, the outcome of this Tour Pologne will be positive."
