Sam Bennett

"A fine victory after a difficult day's racing".

"It was a tough day of racing. The leading group had a big lead and the riders the breakaway were fighting for the overall classification. On top of that, the wind was strong, which made it difficult to catch up with them. My teammates had to work extra hard and did an excellent job of controlling the race and bringing me back to the front of the pack at a crucial moment. The last three kilometers required an intense effort. Finally, I was able to launch my sprint from the back with enough speed to take the win. It's a very good result and I'm happy with what the team and I achieved over the race weekend."

Luke Rowe

"Total commitment from all riders

"Today, even though we had riders the top 10 of the general classification, we decided to give it our all for the stage victory with Sam Bennett. This required total commitment from the whole team, showing the riders confidence riders their sprinter. Everyone really put in a solid performance and that ultimately allowed us to win two stages on this Tour la Provence. It's fantastic for the whole team, but also for Luke Roberts and me as sports directors; it's an ideal start to the season. Winning is always something prestigious."
