Tobias Lund Andresen

"This shows consistency, not just on my part, but on the part of the entire team."

"Today, there was a risk that the race would be really tough, but we kept control over the breakaways. I felt good in the final despite the heat, and Callum Scotson and Nicolas Prodhomme positioned me well. I was hoping to win today, but I'm still happy with a podium finish in a WorldTour race. Overall, it's a great achievement to win the points classification jersey; it shows the consistency, not just of myself but of the whole team. I couldn't have achieved this result without my teammates, so it's a very good start for me with my new team. I'm proud of my teammates, the trust they place in me, everything they give to the team, and the work they do for me."
