"Sam was really beaten by stronger riders because technically he ran very well and the team applied to the letter everything that was set out at the briefing. Nicolas (Prodhomme) started to ride, then Bruno (Armirail), Dorian (Godon), Edvald (Boasson Hagen), Oliver (Naesen) and Sam were irreproachable. There's some disappointment, but as there weren't really any mistakes, there's not much to complain about."
