Paul Lapeira
"It's incredible to win again in front of my home crowd".
"I had cramps in the last tour, but I gave it my all. Brieuc Rolland attacked 1.5 kilometers from the finish, and I immediately made the effort to catch up with him. In the last 300 meters, I was alongside Pascal Eenkhoorn. I waited for him to turn around to launch my sprint and take the lead, and it worked. It wasn't the plan to race like that, but I know it's a race where the breakaway has a chance to go all the way. Today we had a good group at the front with some riders , we managed to break away from the peloton and we quickly realized that we were going to fight for the win. But we had to be strong because it was a tough day. It's incredible to win again in front of my home crowd after the French championships, this time with the tricolor jersey on my shoulders."
