BENOIT COSNEFROY: “I wanted to bring home the victory.”

“I’m disappointed with this second place because I really wanted to bring home the victory for the team. Casper Pedersen was simply very strong and in great shape. There was no opening. However, I enjoyed myself. The team took responsibility. We were proactive throughout the race. From the first climb, Romain and I wanted to make a difference. We really took the race in the right direction, which is why I'm disappointed. It's been a great classics campaign for me and I'm happy to finish the season on the podium."
