Stan Dewulf: "The goal was to keep Ben O'Connor safe"
"It's been a good day for the AG2R CITROËN team. The goal was to keep Ben O'Connor safe, and he was in the first echelon. We have four riders the first group (Stan Dewulf, Oliver Naesen, Ben O'Connor, and Clément Champoussin), which is great. I'm happy to have the white jersey. It's always nice to wear a distinctive jersey."[/su_quote]

Olivier Naesen finished ninth in the stage. "We knew it would be a difficult day. We had a great stage as a team. We had to be careful not to get left behind," said Oliver Naesen. "There was a lot of tension, and the team rallied around its leaders, with the white jersey as recognition for a young rider Stan," said Vincent Lavenu, general manager of the AG2R CITROËN team.
AG2R CITROËN is currently in second place in the team classification.
