Dorian (Godon) put me in a good position on the first climb, but the gradient was very steep and I wasn't sure I could hold on to my place in the breakaway. As the passes went by, I felt better, and on the Col de Joux my legs responded well. I tried to manage my effort as much as possible so as not to suffer from the heat, and in the end I told myself that I had to go for it, that I had to be daring. I had nothing to lose and I was confident in my chances. The last few kilometers were very difficult, but I was able to resist. I'm very proud of this victory, which rewards not only the team but also my entire career. "
