Kicking off with French champion Dorian Godon's victory in the final stage of Tour , the day ended with Paul Seixas' success in the Tour l'Avenir. At 19 years old, the rider from the DECATHLON AG2R LA MONDIALE team won the final stage and the overall classification of the Espoirs race.

Dorian Godon

" Full of confidence for the rest of the season ".

"I'm very happy to take my second victory this week, even if I didn't have the French champion's jersey on my shoulders today. I was feeling in good shape and that was confirmed. The team did a great job for me, everyone making sure I was well placed in the final. I was able to launch my sprint from the back, 200 metres from the line, and I'm very happy to have won. The team's 2nd place overall and good collective result in yesterday's time trial are also very satisfying. It gives me a lot of confidence for the rest of the season."

Paul Seixas

"I fought until the end to win".

"It was a great week with riders didn't know. We didn't have any automatic responses in the race and we had to learn to create them. It went really well, we formed a very good group. Winning the Tour l'Avenir by fighting to the end makes it even more special. That's what sport is all about. Today was tough, but I fought until the end. I'm proud to have achieved my goal in this way."
