Paul Seixas
"I'm proud of what we did today".
"I really enjoyed this race. It was very intense, our opponents set a fast pace throughout the race and we had to work hard on every climb to be well positioned at the top and descend in good conditions. My teammates did a lot to help me throughout the day. I couldn't catch up with the riders me on my own and I was caught up by a small group, but I gave it my all right to the finish line to secure seventh place. A top 10 finish in my first Monument is already a very good result. In recent weeks, I've taken a step forward both physically and mentally. I proved to myself that I belong here. All the hard work throughout the season has paid off, and I'm happy to finish on a high note."
Dorian Godon
"The finish really suited me".
"It's my second win this week. The finish really suited me, with that sprint over the hump. I tried to save my strength all day and stay calm so I could be out in front in the finish. Noa Isidore did a superb job of replacing me perfectly before the descent. I stayed in the wheels for a while before starting my sprint, as there was a headwind, and that worked out well for me. I'm going to try to recover well before Paris-Tours, because it's a great race and I feel I'm in good shape."
