"This is the greatest victory of my career. When you look at the list of winners of the Flèche Brabançonne, you see riders only the greatest riders won riders . This victory comes after a really difficult race due to the weather. There were no moments of respite. The team rode hard all day to shake up the race. Then, I followed the attacks 50 kilometers from the finish. I felt that I was in very good shape and that a sprint finish in a small group could be to my advantage. That's what happened. This victory is good for morale. Even though I've had more difficult moments, I never gave up. Sharing the podium withBenoît (Cosnefroy)is the icing on the cake. It doesn't happen every day, so I want to savor it. This day is the perfect start to our Ardennes classics campaign. We need to continue with the same mindset and take responsibility.
