The circuit was difficult but we had a good race together. When I go out with 8 kilometers to go, I prefer to anticipate a sprint finish. I'm really happy to take this first victory with the AG2R CITROËN team jersey. We had a great weekend together and we finish the season with victories in the French Cup (general, youth, team). "When I turned professional (in 2017), I never imagined I would win the overall classification of the Coupe de France. When you see the riders winners' list, it's a real source of pride. I'm very happy. After the Tour France, I managed to stay focused. Stan's victory today is the perfect way to end the season.
