"It was a hard-fought sprint, but I was confident and felt good in the final. I was at the back of the group, but Aurélien Paret-Peintre brought me to the front superbly, and we finished first and second. I believed in it right to the end, and I didn't get up again. What's more, I won the overall classification, so it was a perfect day. We always manage to do great things with a great team."
