"I've made a lot of progress. The Giro on the schedule since the start of the season, so I came into this race well prepared and feeling very confident. It was very tough in the final, and the leaders climbed at an impressive pace. I couldn't keep up when they overtook me, but then I gave it my all to try and catch up. I wasn't far off. It was a great day for me, finishing fourth and taking the best young rider jersey at the finish. It's an honor to wear a distinctive jersey, and I'll try to keep it tomorrow, even though the priority remains the overall classification for Ben."
