"Becoming a professional is a dream come true, especially in a French UCI WorldTeam like AG2R CITROËN. After two years (2020 and 2021) with the AG2R CITROËN U19 team and a year as an amateur that ended with a training camp with AG2R CITROËN, it's a great achievement. But this is just one step, and I hope to achieve other childhood dreams, such as winning major races or participating in Tour France.
My internship with the team went very well. I was able to take part in some great events and the work done for the team has already helped me get over the hump. These marks taken this season will make me gain time for next year.
The Flemish classics inspire me. Learning alongside riders Greg Van Avermaet and Oliver Naesen is fantastic for me. Over the last few weeks, I've seen that we're in a great position to improve and that the atmosphere within the team is very good.
In 2023, I will have two objectives: to continue to learn and progress but also to validate my diploma (BTS Electrotechnics). This is important to me and I am lucky to have the support of my high school to carry out this dual project."[/su_quote]
