Valentin Retailleau: «Very pleased with this result»
«I'm a little disappointed to have come so close to my first professional victory, but at the same time I'm very happy with this result. It was a close call. Bastien (Tronchon)'s victory yesterday inspired me and I was determined to emulate him today. It would have been really nice to win one after the other, but it's still a great performance.
I am pleased with how the day went and with my physical condition. This is my first professional race as a neo-pro (he has been a professional since 1 August 2022), so it bodes well for the future.
