Greg Van Avermaet: «A good sign»
«It was a difficult day with a gruelling course. In the final, we raced to win with Benoît (Cosnefroy) and we came very close. That mistake in the final moments was perhaps the key moment of the race because we had set off together and it wasn't easy to get going again and regroup for the sprint. It's a shame to come so close to victory, but I'm still very happy with the result. I've been feeling better every day since the Tour de Wallonie (23-27 July) and I'm very motivated to get some good results. It's a good sign to be at the front on a stage like today's. We'll see if there's a chance to overturn the general classification tomorrow, but Alex Aranburu looks strong and has good speed.»[/su_quote]
