«It's a mixture of frustration and satisfaction. Frustration because I think physically I had the win in my legs, I was really feeling good and I would have liked to go for it for the team because they did a superb job. Satisfaction, particularly with Edvald Boasson Hagen for his positioning during the stage, and Victor, with whom we played well in the final to try and make things happen, but unfortunately it didn't pay off. I lack a little experience in sprints, so I get boxed in. Even though I manage to make a good comeback, I fall short by a few metres and have to settle for second place. I think the team had the level to go for the win, but we still had a great weekend and showed some good things.»

The development team joined the ranks of the collective during the Tour de l'Ain. Tom Donnewirth achieved the team's best result, along with Killian Verschuren. The latter won the best young rider classification.

The figure
Like Victor Lafay's position in the overall Tour de l'Ain rankings. After finishing eleventh in the second stage, Victor took a chance in the final stage. Unfortunately, his daring move did not pay off, but he was still rewarded with eighth place at the finish line, an encouraging return to competition.
