Benoît Cosnefroy: «Happy with this second place»
«We decided to go on the offensive at the start of the race and I found myself at the front with eleven riders, including Dorian Godon. The race was a tug-of-war with the peloton throughout the day. In the final, there were three of us, but I lacked the freshness to win. It was a positive day, I was in a position to win, and the other riders from the AG2R CITROËN team worked perfectly to allow this breakaway to fight for the victory.
I also remember the enthusiasm of the crowds and their encouragement throughout the race. La Polynormande is the race closest to my parents» home, and I enjoy running here.
Dorian Godon leads the Coupe de France

With Benoît Cosnefroy finishing second, Dorian Godon fourth and Alexis Gougeard ninth, the AG2R CITROËN team consolidated its position at the top of the team classification.
