Benoit Cosnefroy: «The longest kilometre of my life»

«I really wanted to enjoy myself today. For the past two weeks, I've felt that I was in good shape. I attacked from a long way out, which wasn't necessarily the plan at the start, and it was far from a sure thing. Sometimes you have to take a chance, and this time it worked! This isn't my first victory as a professional. I already won the Grand Prix d'Isbergues in 2017, but today feels even better. I'm in my home region, and I heard my name being shouted from the roadside all day long. Most of my family was there, and I'm really happy to have been able to get the job done. In the final, I managed to catch up with Kevin Geniets two kilometres from the finish. I know him well, we raced together at Chambéry Cyclisme Formation. I attacked with one kilometre to go and I think it was the longest kilometre of my life. But it was worth it!»[/su_quote] [su_row][su_column size=»1/2»][/su_column] [su_quote cite=»QUENTIN JAUREGUI»]

Quentin Jauregui: «We couldn't let this slip away.»

«After Alexis Gougeard's victory at the Circuit de la Sarthe, we had another great day. In the final, I told Benoît that we couldn't let this one slip away. We had a lot of fun and it's very nice to be on the podium alongside him.»
