«I've been feeling good for a while now. I've been close to a good performance (5th in Binche-Chimay-Binche, 4th in Paris-Tours). The circuit was difficult, but we had a great team effort. When I broke away 8 kilometres from the finish, I decided to anticipate a sprint finish. I'm really happy to win this first victory in the AG2R CITROËN team jersey. We had a great weekend together and we're ending the season with victories in the Coupe de France (overall, youth, teams). We couldn't have asked for anything better. «When I turned professional (in 2017), I never imagined I would win the overall classification of the Coupe de France. When you look at the list of previous winners, it's a real source of pride.
