Felix Gall
«I'm lost for words.»
«It's incredible. I'm lost for words. Since the start of the year, I've been happy with what I've achieved. Performing well in the Tour de France and winning the queen stage... it's fabulous.
After regaining the leadership role, I focused every day on doing my best. It was stressful, but I felt really good every day, and even better since the start of this third week.
I didn't think the breakaway would fight for the win today, but I wanted to get a head start. Nans (Peters) and Ben (O'Connor) did a fantastic job. I waited for the big gradients and decided to give it my all. In the final stretch, I was afraid of being caught, but I managed to hold on. What a joy!.
I would like to thank the AG2R CITROËN team. They have given me so much since last year.»

«Felix was extraordinary.»
«I feel very proud. We shared a moment of great happiness with everyone who works all year round to achieve such performances, whether on the field or in the race department, and with our partners who have loyally supported us for a long time.
Felix was extraordinary. This stage revealed a great rider. We knew about his talent, which we helped to develop. We manage to find riders who bring us great joy.
Ben O'Connor did an extraordinary job of maintaining the gap with the yellow jersey. Before that, Nans Peters had done a tremendous job. The whole team contributed to this victory. These are unique moments.»
