Andrea Vendrame: «The Giro set me free»

«I had seen the race profile yesterday and knew it could suit me. It was a gruelling stage and there was something to be done. When I broke away, it took a huge effort to get to the finish line and I'm really happy to have won. The Giro has freed me up, I'm more relaxed since I won there. For the second time in my career after 2019, I've won a second race this season. I hope it continues until the Italian Championships.
But in the meantime, we still have three great stages to go. The team is performing really well, so we can be ambitious.
