CLEMENT VENTURINI: «Defending my jersey»

«I wanted to give it my all on this course, to deliver a strong performance from start to finish. I was able to set a fairly steady pace right from the start. I saw that I was gaining time with each lap, but it wasn't easy. This is my third elite title, and they all have a special value. It's always a source of pride and an honour to wear this jersey. I'm less active in the winter, but I was determined to win this race. Flamanville, a must-see event on the French calendar, is very enjoyable, and I'm lucky to have won here every time I've competed. Now it's time for the road season, where I want to raise my arms in victory, unlike last year.»[/su_quote]
