Clement Venturini: «Delighted to give this title to the team»
«I am moved and very happy. Last year, I lost my title in Brittany because I was overconfident. I learned my lesson.
After a rather difficult period, I am proud to be back on track in my favourite discipline and on this circuit, where I didn't necessarily have fond memories. With all the mud, it was a real cyclo-cross race. Technically, I was a bit limited, but I was able to compensate with my physical strength. I had people supporting me today, my loved ones, my family. I'm delighted to have won this title for AG2R LA MONDIALE, as John Gadret did in the past (see figure). I'd like to thank the team managers for giving me the green light to compete. Now it's off to Spain for a training camp before the start of the road season at the Etoile de Bessèges (6 February).» [/su_quote]
Quentin Jaurégui finished eighth in the French Championships.
