«The Coupe de France is my end-of-season goal, and after my fall the day before on the Route Adélie, I really wanted to score some points. We experienced a race with hellish conditions; circuit events are always very difficult in my opinion. I started the sprint a little too far back and got overtaken, which is a shame.
I'm back at the top of the overall standings. I admit that I was expecting a little more from the two days, but it's better to be in my position. I'm very motivated for the last three races. I'm well aware that nothing is decided yet.

At the front of the Classic Loire Atlantique, Lilian Calmejane finished 5th in this stage of the Coupe de France: «We had two really tough days. It was a gruelling race and you needed to be fresh for the sprint. I tried to help Dorian. I can see that I'm in good shape, and I have three stages left in the Coupe de France before the end of the season. I'm going to do everything I can to finish well.»
