Nans Peters: «I love this race»
«The conditions weren't good, it rained a lot, but that had nothing to do with the World Championships! I like this race, it's my second consecutive podium finish (3rd last year). I'm still motivated at this time of year and that sometimes makes the difference between me and the others. It was a close call for the win; it took a photo finish. In this race, you have to manage the climb so you don't burn out for the sprint, which is what I did. But unfortunately, I found myself boxed in. Now it's on to Paris-Tours to finish off the season.»[/su_quote]

Stéphane Goubert: «Room for the offensive»
«This race usually ends in a sprint, but last year Valentin Madouas showed that there was room for an offensive. In the event of a bunch finish, we will be counting on Clément Venturini. On Sunday, during the Tour de Vendée, he showed that he is in good shape for the end of the season, as did Julien Duval, who finished 5th in the Eurométropole.
We can also count on riders such as Silvan Dillier and Quentin Jaurégui, who enjoy events with lots of movement.
