Benoît Cosnefroy

«I'm very pleased.»

«I managed to fight my way into the leading group, but then I manoeuvred well in the sprint to win, so I'm very happy. When you win and feel great, it's good, you go all the way, but when you win and feel average, like today, it's even more satisfying to achieve that result.»

Dries De Bondt

«I saw lots of stars!»

«My legs and head hurt, I saw a lot of stars! I'm a little disappointed because I quickly realised that Jorgenson's attack in the final was the right one. I think I still had the legs to follow him at that point, but I hesitated too much. I tried to react a few kilometres later, but unfortunately I quickly realised that my legs weren't up to it. I'm happy to be fifth and to have made an impact in the final because the group was strong and I did my best. The goal for the day was to finish in the top five, so that's a success.»
