«We can compete with the best teams.»
«It was a good race, we're happy with the result, especially since we started with a young but ambitious team. At the start of the race, we weren't perhaps as confident as we would have been if we'd had Ben O'Connor in the team (he withdrew and was replaced by Sander De Pestel), but we were hungry for victory. We did really well in the placings and that made all the difference.
However, the day had started badly because I had a puncture very early on and found myself in a breakaway. I was in a group of about thirty riders who weren't working together very well. I made the effort to get back into the peloton, but that clearly put me in the red for 30 kilometres.
In the final, the boys put me in a great position, with Andrea Vendrame. We were hoping that Nicolas Prodhomme would be able to catch up with Oier Lazkano, who was alone in the lead, but it didn't happen. So behind, with a small group, we caught up with Nicolas, who was riding hard, and I set up the sprint for the counter-attack to finish second.e. Unfortunately, we didn't win, but it shows that we are clearly up to the standard and that we can compete with the best teams.»

News: Nicolas Prodhomme finishes 5th
After a long breakaway, Nicolas Prudhomme finished 5th.e of the Clásica Jaén Paraiso Interior, in the same group as Bastien Tronchon, 28 seconds behind winner Oier Lazkano: ’I'm very happy with my race, but Oier Lazkano was really very strong. I tried to manage my breakaway well to expend as little energy as possible and stay in contact with him for as long as possible. With 20 kilometres to go, he slowed down, and I thought he was very tired, but it was a bluff. So I attacked, but he came back quickly and countered me.’
