«It was a long day with the difficulties concentrated in the final. With the team, our goal was to make the race tougher, each in turn and on every hill. Everyone made the race really difficult and I had to wait for the last climb. I felt really good, I waited for it to get tougher and then I made my effort. When I saw that I had made a gap, I gave it my all until the finish line to think about the overall classification. I would like to thank the whole team, it is thanks to them that I won today.
