Alex Baudin
«A good omen for the rest of the season.»
«I'm happy to finish second, but disappointed that I couldn't bring the team its first victory of the season. They rode at the front of the pack all day, so I'm more disappointed for my teammates than myself. I felt very strong on the Route des Crêtes. After launching my attack, I had to wait for Kevin Geniets to catch up because it would have been almost impossible to go it alone. The two of us got on well. I was hoping to beat him in the sprint, even though I knew it was going to be difficult. It bodes well for the rest of the season. I'm in good shape and I know I'm not far off being able to win a race. »
”Disappointed for my teammates that we didn't win.
