«I'm very happy to be back competing! The Santos Tour Down Under is a race I really enjoy, the atmosphere in Australia is special. It's the start of the season for everyone, including the staff, and these are special moments we share as a team. With short, dynamic climbs, it's a race that suits me, but it's always difficult to gauge your form at the start of the season. I know that some of the riders on the team have worked hard to get here in great shape, and I'll be delighted to help them achieve the best possible result.»
