«Becoming a professional is a dream come true, especially in a French UCI WorldTeam like AG2R CITROËN. After two years (2020 and 2021) with the AG2R CITROËN U19 team and a year as an amateur that ended with a training camp with AG2R CITROËN, it's a great achievement. But this is just one step, and I hope to achieve other childhood dreams, such as winning major races or participating in the Tour de France.
My internship with the team went very well. I was able to take part in some great events, and the work I did for the team has already helped me reach a new level. The benchmarks I've set this season will save me time next year.
The Flemish classics are my dream. Learning alongside riders like Greg Van Avermaet and Oliver Naesen is fantastic for me. Over the last few weeks, I've seen that we're in a great position to improve and that the atmosphere in the team is very good.
