Paul Lapeira
«It was a natural renewal, leaving no room for doubt.»
«It was a natural renewal, with no room for doubt. I completed all my training within the team, and with great progress to show for it, I was keen to continue on this path. I am delighted to be extending for another two years, until 2027, which will bring my total years with the team to six at the end of the contract. It's starting to be quite a story. I think I'm in the right place to continue to progress over the next three years and bring the best possible results to the team. I am confident in the future of the team, and the vision for the project in 2028 brings peace of mind. I would like to thank our partners, AG2R La Mondiale, who have supported us for many years, as well as Decathlon more recently, and Van Rysel, who provide us with state-of-the-art equipment.»

The figure
Like Paul Lapeira's number of victories in 2024, the young Norman has enjoyed numerous successes, with a double win in the Classic Loire-Atlantique and Cholet-Pays de la Loire to kick off his season. This was followed by a WorldTour victory in the second stage of the Tour of the Basque Country, before he was crowned French champion on home soil. Still in his native region, Paul won the Polynormande at the end of the season.
