Nicolas Prodhomme
«Proud to add my name to the race's list of winners»
«It was the first time I wore a distinctive jersey among the professionals. And I didn't just wear it, I won the race. It's crazy, I'm really happy. We wanted to build on the good results from the Giro for this Route d'Occitanie and it went even better than we hoped. My teammates did a superb job all week to put me in the best possible position to go for the win. It will take me a few more days to realise what has happened, but the French Championships are coming up very soon and I'm going to stay focused on that goal.»

On the attack and among the favourites until the finish, Felix Gall took 4th place in today's stage, the last in the line. Before the final individual time trial, the Austrian rider is 5th in the overall classification.
Felix Gall: «It was another difficult day. I felt pretty good, so I wanted to try something on the final climb, which was very steep and had no flat sections. It didn't work out, but I'm glad I tried. It's my best race of the season so far, and I've gained a lot of confidence ahead of the Tour de France. Tomorrow, I'll give it everything I've got. On this kind of course, it's just you and your determination to go as hard as you can.»
