Luke Rowe
«I was drawn to the project.»
«I took the time to think about my future and the next step in my career. The DECATHLON AG2R LA MONDIALE project appealed to me because of the team's performance this year, but also because it's a project with a future. I'm keen to bring my experience from years at the highest level and support the riders, particularly in the classics. The other part of this new project is the team's ambition to become more international. Obviously, there are some incredible French talents, but with this approach, the team can also be a very attractive option for English-speaking and international riders who want to join the team.»

«Extensive experience with the classics»
«The meeting with Luke Rowe happened naturally. He is someone who will bring us his experience from his thirteen years with Ineos Grenadiers. He was one of the team's key riders in the Flemish classics such as Paris-Roubaix and the Ardennes classics. This will enable the team to strengthen its preparation for these major events, which are objectives for the coming seasons. Luke will be at the heart of the classics group with the various training camps and specific preparations put in place to perform well in these races. This is a step up in the structuring of the sports division and in supporting young people to reach the highest level.»
