«This is my first victory, it's just huge, I've been waiting for it for a long time. Sharing this with Paul is great, we were able to enjoy it together in the last kilometre. When I saw that there were two of us in the lead, I told myself that we wouldn't take any risks on the descent and, on the flat, I knew that we would work together perfectly. With all the work we've put in for the team, finishing the week like this is the best reward. I've had very few opportunities like this in my career, but given Paul (Seixas)»s talent, I'm sure I'll be able to return the favour in the future. It felt natural."

«We had ambitions this week, for a stage victory and in the general classification. Today, we're going for a double. A victory achieved through an offensive strategy, which was risky because we knew that Felix (Gall) would find himself isolated, but we had to give ourselves the chance to have Nicolas (Prodhomme) and Paul (Seixas) at the front. As for the overall classification, we had high ambitions with Felix and Paul, who proved they were among the best this week. Objectively, we came up against stronger opponents. Felix's fifth place and this double victory reward the work of the team, both the riders and the staff, who worked hard for this success all week. We are returning from the Tour of the Alps with great satisfaction.»
