Felix Gall

« Without a doubt my best day on this Tour »

«At the foot of the Tourmalet, when the attacks began, I also considered going for it to join the breakaway, but I think it was the right decision to stay in the peloton. Today, it was a calculated risk on the final climb. I felt really good following the pace set by UAE, so I thought it was a good opportunity to make up some time on my rivals in the general classification. It's definitely my best day on this Tour so far, and I'm really happy to feel so good at the end of the second week. The team did a great job, Callum was very strong in the final, and Aurélien managed to stay with us until the last climb.»

Like Felix Gall's position in the Tour de France general classification. At the end of the Pyrenean weekend and after a brilliantly contested queen stage, Felix moved up two places in the general classification and is now in seventh position.
