After three intense weeks of racing across Italy, France and Spain, Felix Gall finished eighth overall in the 2025 Vuelta.

« I I am satisfied with this result and with my season. »

«It was my second Grand Tour this season, and it's always difficult to go from the Tour de France to the Vuelta. I felt great until the third week, when I had to fight to stay well placed in the general classification. I think I can be happy with this race and my season. I performed at a consistently high level, from the Tour de Suisse to the Vuelta. It would have been fantastic to finish in the top five again, but a top ten finish in a Grand Tour is still something to be proud of. I had some incredible moments in this Vuelta, at Angliru and on stage 9, where I think I put in my best effort. During the last week, I tried to manage and hang on physically and mentally. Doing the Vuelta right after the Tour de France means you have to adapt and accept that there will be ups and downs in order to be the best you can be. My teammates helped me a lot with that. We did our best as a team, succeeding in the team time trial and trying to go for stage wins in the breakaways. Everyone supported me as best they could. Crossing the finish line with all eight riders from the team is always a good thing.»

« There are no regrets about have »

«After the Tour de France, this is another Top 10 finish in a Grand Tour for the team this season. Even though we had hoped for a little better during the race, we can be satisfied with how we rode this Vuelta. We were aggressive, regularly getting into breakaways, especially with Bruno (Armirail), who was one of the strong men in this Vuelta, and we finished in the top 5 in 6 stages. Felix (Gall) raced at the level of the best throughout the Vuelta. He suffered mental and physical fatigue from the back-to-back Grand Tours in the third week, but everything was optimised around him with a homogeneous group of riders and there are no regrets. It is also important to note that we finished this Vuelta with all the riders who started, thanks in particular to a very good team effort, which was evident in the team time trial. Léo (Bisiaux), Johannes (Staune-Mittet) and Jordan (Labrosse) finished their first Grand Tour with a great experience, which is always important for building the future.»

As did the number of riders from the team in the top 20 of the race. In addition to Felix Gall (8th), Bruno Armirail also achieved a good result in the final general classification with a 19th place finish, thanks to an aggressive race and a regular presence in the breakaways. He came very close to wearing the red jersey during the 6th stage.
