Edvald Boasson Hagen

«Delighted to join this team that is part of cycling history.»

«I am really happy to have had the opportunity to join the DECATHLON AG2R LA MONDIALE team. It is part of cycling history and is a very strong team. I joined the group two days ago for the second training camp in Spain (9-18 January). It's a chance for me to meet my teammates and the staff and to get to know my new equipment.

I am joining the spring classics group with the aim of helping the team achieve the best possible results. I also want to pass on all my experience to the younger riders and win one last professional victory.»

Vincent Lavenu

«Strengthening the group of Flemish classics»

«It's a great opportunity for the team to welcome Edvald Boasson Hagen. Edvald has a wealth of experience and has enjoyed numerous successes (81). I've been following him since his amateur days, when he was already a step ahead of the other competitors.
His mission is very clear: he is here to strengthen the classics team. His experience will be invaluable in positioning our leaders at the right moment, but also in mass sprints, where he will be able to lead Sam Bennett's train in the final kilometres of the race.»
