A new season marked by teamwork and fighting spirit
Bruno Angles, CEO of AG2R LA MONDIALE, Vincent Cobée, CEO of CITROËN, and Vincent Lavenu, General Manager of the cycling team, today unveiled the line-up for AG2R CITROËN TEAM 2023. In the presence of Benoît Cosnefroy, Aurélien Paret-Peintre, Bastien Tronchon and Greg Van Avermaet, they presented the team's ambitions for this new season, which will be marked by teamwork, youth and fighting spirit.

«Finish among the top ten teams in the world»
«We are coming out of a 2022 season that was unusual, as our team was often unlucky: several second places, numerous rider crashes and the Covid-19 epidemic. But we never gave up. These values of fighting spirit, which are dear to our team, enabled us to achieve great successes, such as our stage victory in the Tour de France and at the Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec.
In 2023, we want to have a very good Tour de France with the goal of winning a stage and being in a good position in the overall classification. It will also be important to focus on our number of victories, so we hope to get between 15 and 20. We want to finish in the top ten teams in the world and why not win a Monument. We dream of this, especially as we have come close in recent years.»
