In the final, four of us broke away and I took advantage of the fact that the others were watching each other to attack 700 metres from the line. I tried to pull away straight away and when I looked back, I saw that I had gained a lead and that I had to give it my all. It's great to reward the team with this victory. There are now two stages left to bring the leader's jersey home. Tomorrow's stage should be easier, everything will be decided on Saturday's summit finish.»
