«In 2022, our team will celebrate its thirtieth anniversary. It is essential that we continue to look to the future by maintaining the momentum that has driven us since 1992. Our history is above all a human adventure in which everyone, riders, management and partners alike, has contributed to building what is now, 30 years later, the AG2R CITROËN team, determined to shine on all the roads of the world. 2021 was a very satisfying year, with 12 victories, including a stage victory in each of the three Grand Tours. We are also proud to see riders from our training programme become true champions and seasoned professionals. In 2022, our riders, backed by an increasingly professional coaching team and with the support of loyal and committed partners, will aim to achieve an even more successful and fruitful season with the enthusiasm and freshness that has driven us for 30 years.
André Renaudin, Chief Executive Officer of AG2R LA MONDIALE: «Achieving great collective victories»
«We are approaching a quarter of a century of partnership with Vincent Lavenu's team. What a wonderful adventure, how many emotional moments we have shared! And what a source of pride for our entire organisation, our directors, policyholders and employees, to see the riders and management team wearing our colours. We have confidence in the new generation of riders to continue embodying our values of solidarity and performance. For this new season, we are, as always, united by the same ambition: to see the team and our riders achieve great collective victories and climb onto the podiums of the biggest races!»[/su_quote] [su_quote cite=]
Vincent Cobée, Managing Director of CITROËN: «Even more ambitious»
«We are very proud to be part of this sporting adventure alongside AG2R LA MONDIALE and Vincent Lavenu's cycling team. The first year of our partnership has been an emotional rollercoaster, with the team putting in some outstanding performances, including notable victories in the three Grand Tours, and confirming its position as the leading French team on the world circuit. For this new season, we are confident in the team's potential and even more ambitious. Without a doubt, 2022 will be a landmark year. Not only will the team celebrate its 30th anniversary, but we will also be providing them with the C5 X, the new flagship of the Citroën range. Innovative, the C5X is the perfect embodiment of Citroën's philosophy, brilliantly combining the elegance of a saloon with the dynamism of an estate car. I am sure it will be an asset in supporting the team's efforts in the major races of the season.»[/su_quote]
