After a 2024 season marked by historic results, the DECATHLON AG2R LA MONDIALE team is approaching 2025 with determination. This year is a consolidation phase in the construction of the long-term project, thanks to the commitment of the riders, the staff and the unwavering support of our partners.
Delphine Stricker, Chief of Staff to the Chief Executive Officer, member of the AG2R LA MONDIALE Group Executive Committee responsible for communications, events and sponsorship, and President of France Cyclisme:
«I am delighted to present the DECATHLON AG2R LA MONDIALE Team 2025. It embodies, through a strong collective, the ambitious project put in place for over a year with our partner DECATHLON.
We experienced a 2024 season exceptional, marked by results that exceeded our expectations, both for the World Tour team and for NewGen. These successes were made possible in particular by a strengthened sporting strategy and the establishment of an integrated training programme to identify and train young talents who are destined to join the professional team.
In 2025, we look forward to new victories thanks to the talent and professionalism of our riders, who are ready to give their all!»
Céline DEL GENES, Global Chief Customer Officer at DECATHLON:
«The team had an exceptional 2024 season, demonstrating resilience and unity, and delivering remarkable performances in the most prestigious races. Equipped with VAN RYSEL bikes, the team embodied the spirit of innovation and determination that is so dear to DECATHLON. We are proud of what the team has achieved and look forward to continuing the adventure in 2025, guided by the team's great ambitions and shaping the future of cycling together. »
Dominique Serieys, Managing Director of DECATHLON AG2R LA MONDIALE Team:
«We would like to thank our partners for their trust and support. The momentum generated by the arrival of DECATHLON and VAN RYSEL alongside AG2R LA MONDIALE allows us to aim for the highest level of professional cycling worldwide. In order to achieve our goals, we have strengthened our staff through internal promotions and strategic recruitment. This spirit is also reflected in our team of riders, with the promotion of young talent and the stability provided by the team's senior members. Thanks to state-of-the-art equipment and a shared commitment, we are ready to take on new challenges.
The aim is to give our best in every area. Our climbers will need to be at their best in the mountains and our sprinters will need to show their power in bunch sprints, particularly in the Grand Tours. As in 2024, one-day specialists and puncheurs will be able to use their racing instincts and stamina to win prestigious races.»
